Fiskens, London’s foremost historic automobile specialists, are all set to begin the new year in typical style having once again secured a striking inventory of classic cars for next week’s 30th annual Retromobile Auto Show in Paris (February 6-10).
The popularity of the event, coupled with Fiskens’ established reputation for presenting significant cars that haven’t been publically offered for decades, will ensure that a visit to the Fiskens stand is irresistible!
Whilst we can’t reveal the full extent of what will be on display, we are proud to confirm that the 2013 inventory includes the ex-Scuderia Filipinetti 1966 Ferrari 275 GTB Competizione, a Le Mans class winner that contested the 24 Hours race 3 times. The rest of the collection includes, pre war, a barn-find French Grand Prix car and a British Le Mans entry that has not been publically offered for sale in a generation. Post war, there are two extremely significant 1950s sports racing cars. They will be revealed at 10am next Wednesday morning when the covers come off for the first time.
“Retromobile signals the true start of our year and has always been particularly good to us, so it goes without saying that I am looking forward to the 2013 edition,” commented Gregor Fisken. “While it’s always a pleasure to catch up with old friends, the exhibition also provides an ideal opportunity to introduce potential new clients to an incredible selection of automobiles that rarely come to market.”
Fiskens’ large exhibition space will once again be located on stand J91 in Hall 3 throughout the five-day event, which takes place at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles centre.
